Export FEP6 Estimate to QuickBooks^® Quick Guide

FloorEstimate Pro 6 QuickBooks^® Plug-in enables one-click transfer of FloorEstimate Pro flooring job estimates into your QuickBooks accounting system, avoiding double entry and further enhancing flooring sales productivity.


		Automatic Transfer The plug-in automatically creates a new Estimate or Invoice in QuickBooks and adds items in QuickBooks item database if necessary.

A Typical Workflow:

1. Work with Quotation Tab in FloorEstimate Pro 6 >>

	2. Click on Export to QuickBooks button >>

	3. Get confirmation of transfer, then check the exported estimate in QuickBooks

How Does It Work?

			Step 1: Start QuickBooks before making estimate transfer from Floor Estimate Pro and have one company working profile open.
			Step 2: From FEP6 Quotation Tab, click on Export to QuickBooks button.
			At the first time, QuickBooks will prompt for permission to allow FloorEstimate Pro access to QuickBooks. Select Yes to allow data transfer.
			Step 3: Then FEP6 pops a window to allow select a customer from existing QuickBooks customer list, then select Sales Tax rate, Material Item Tax item and Labor Tax Item from current QuickBooks settings.
			Successful data transfer will be acknowledged.
			Step 4: Transferred estimates/invoice can be found from QuickBooks under Customer/Create Estimates.
