Doorway and window are created by dropping onto the walls of existing rooms.

 

Insert Doorway:

Click on Insert Doorway button; enter the parameters; select and left-click on a wall to park the door.

 

 

Doorway Parameters:

·        Width/Height: door width and height

·        Depth: can be used to extend the room area (1/2 of depth is allocated for the inside area)

·        Style: select from the list (Common Door, French Door, and Door without Leaf)

·        Label: type in or select from the predefined label list

·        Ignore the door’s area Checkbox, when checked, the program ignores the door depth area in layout estimating, otherwise it includes the area.

·        Switch the door’s leaf Checkbox, when checked, the door swings from opposite side.

 

Edit Doorway:

Left-click on the doorway; drag on two end point handles to change its width, drag on the leaf handle to swing the leaf to any location. Drag on the doorway body to move another location or even onto a wall of another room.

 

To edit doorway Properties, right-click on the doorway, select Properties.

 

  

 

 

Insert Window:

Click on Insert Window button; enter the parameters; select and left-click on a wall to park the window.

 

 

Doorway Parameters:

·        Width/Height/Depth: window width, height and depth

·        Distance from Floor: the measurement from floor to the bottom of the window

·        Style: select from the list (Common Window, French Window)

·        Label: type in or select from the predefined label list

 

Edit Window:

Left-click on the window; drag on two end point handles to change its width. Drag on the window body to move another location or even onto a wall of another room.

 

To edit window Properties, right-click on the doorway, select Properties.
