Quick Start Guide

Upon starting FloorEstimate Pro, Quick Start Guide screen will pop up. If you don’t want it to show in the future, check off “Show this guide at startup”. It can be started manually from View menu.

 

 

Quick Start Guide provides a work map for

·        the initial setup tasks and

·        where to find up-to-date online video tutorials,

·        to sign up live demo to get support information from web.

 

Menus and Short Cuts Bar group commands that perform different functions different stages of an estimation process from room drawing, material spec, estimating to worksheet, quotation to work order printing.

 

Workflow Tabs organizes the workflow from project info collection, diagram creation, worksheet, quotation preparation to work order generation.

 

Drawing and Estimating Toolbar groups shortcuts of frequently used commands for inserting rooms, attachment/inset, editing functions, and layout and estimating buttons.

 

Drawing Area is the window for displaying room and material layout (including seam cut layout, stock cut sheet, etc).

 

Product and Labor Panel contains the product, line item and labor database organized by categories. User can visually drag and drop item onto selected room areas.

 

 

 Help tips for command icon

Place the mouse pointer over any command icons to display the detail tip about the functionality.
