In flooring estimating, installing major covering materials requires installation line items as well as labor costs to get the job done. This can be accomplished by associating selected line items and labor items with major covering product.

 

Steps to Associate Line Items:

·        Select the item from left panel, click on Estimating Spec tab, then click on Set Item button (as depicted below)

·        Check the required line items on the list, click on Set button.

 

 

 

 

After clicking on Set button, the line items (Pad ¾, and Carpet-Inst Regular) are set with the selected carpet material.

 

 

 Once the association is made, when this carpet is applied to a room area, the padding and labor items will automatically be applied to the room.
