After room areas are added to the project, the next step is to assign selected products, line items and the associated labor items to the rooms.

 

Browse Material and Labor Database: Click the category name to expand or hide sub-category and product items.

 

 

Assign Material/Labor Item by Drag and Drop: Browse to the material or labor category and find the items to apply to rooms. Drag selected item, move the cursor over the room (then the room gets highlighted), release mouse button to drop the item to the room.

 

 

 

For the example above, drag  from the product panel, move it over and drop it on Bedroom1. Now the room is covered with blue carpet.

 

 

Setup Your Own Material/Labor Database: From File menu, select Material Database or click on the icon on upper toolbar (in red boxed below). More details are in the designated section on material setup.
