Many projects require that tile layout to match across several connected room areas. This can be achieved in a similar way of matching pattern carpet.

 

Match Tile Layout Cross Rooms: select the rooms with Ctrl key pressed, with selected areas highlighted, right-click to bring up pop-up menu, select Set Pattern Start, and then click on a starting point to complete the process.

 

Example:  before the tile pattern match, the tile layout is not matched across its connected door areas.

 

After the matching, tile pattern layout is matched across the open connected door areas:
