Tile layout on walls normally involves putting different tiles on several sections from floor up. The program allows breaking a wall into several sections through Set Wall Layer tool.

 

Set Wall Layer: right-click over the room, select Show Wall/Ceiling, then pick one or multiple walls (press on Ctrl-key to select multiple walls), then right-click again, select Set Wall Layer.

 

The steps to break down the wall into sections and to assign material at each section are illustrated below:

 

 

 

 

 

To Change Layout Direction of a Wall Section: right-click over the wall section to pop up the menu, select Set Layout Direction, and then choose a direction.

 

 

Example: set the middle section purple tile to diagonal direction

 

 

 

 

 

To Change Material of a Wall Section: right-click over the wall section to pop up the menu, select Material Assignment, and then select another material from the list.

 

 

Example: after switch to 24”x24” KT101 New Mexico from Shaw (boxed section in red)

 

 

To Delete Wall Section: right-click over the wall area, select Delete Wall Layer.
