Many flooring jobs involve put coverings on walls and ceilings such as tiling or painting.

 

Show/Hide Walls and Ceiling of a Room: right-click over the room, select Show Wall/Ceiling; to hide wall/ceiling, select Hide Wall/Ceiling (when showing)

 

     

 

 

Edit Wall Properties (Such as Height): right-click over the room, select Properties, click on Walls Tab.

·        One may edit properties for all walls or on ONE individual selected wall. To select a wall, click on Select Wall pull down list, or simply click on the wall on the left drawing pan (it gets highlighted in red when picked).

·        Set Wall Material: apply covering material from the pulldown list

·        Set wall height: enter wall height

·        Set Layout Direction: specify layout direction for the selected covering material

·        Missing Wall: when checked, indicate that it is an open side

·        Display Wall: when checked, show the wall in diagram (otherwise hide the wall)

·        Wall Layer: divide wall into sections for different material applications (see next section Divide Walls into Sections)

 

 

This screen shows the right side wall height set to 6’ (one in red in the screen below) where rest of walls stay at 9’11”, and layout direction set to “From Floor onto Walls”

 

 

 

Edit Ceiling Properties: right-click over the room, select Properties, click on Ceiling Tab.

·        Missing Ceiling: when checked, indicate there is no ceiling on top of the room

·        Display Ceiling: when checked, show the room ceiling in diagram

·        Set Ceiling Material: apply covering material from the pulldown list

·        Set Layout Direction: specify layout direction for the selected covering material
