Integrating at XML project file level
FloorEstimate Pro Software adopts an OPEN architecture that facilitates 3rd party software integration. FloorEstimate Pro support text-based open XML project file format that can be read and parsed by any XML parser to retrieve estimation data from the project file.
Steps to integrate with FloorEstimate Pro
- Download and install fully functional software from download area
- Create some sample projects with floor plan and estimates
- Save projects (For example, sample.fep or .fepx file)
- Open the project file in a text editor (Notepad or others) and look for sections (For example, Proposal, Diagram, Material, Room, etc.) for relevant information (style code, qty, code code, waste ratio, etc.)
- Your application can retrieve those data from a project file and put them into perspective application.
